medium / 98.6 °F returns to 47 Canal for a special one-night only improvisational performance by Miho Hatori and Ana Roxanne.
Miho Hatori is an artist, music producer, and vocalist. She started her music career in a legendary NYC unit, Cibo Matto, in the mid-’90s, with a conceptual album. Since then, she has played, produced, and collaborated with numerous artists. After Cibo Matto, she began making more multimedia performances, using music and video installations. Miho is originally from Tokyo but has been working and living in NYC for too many years.
Ana Roxanne is a composer and singer born and raised in the Bay Area. Working at the interzone of electric meditation, dream pop, and ambient song-craft, her inspirations span the secular and the spiritual, synthesized into a uniquely intuitive sonic language, equal parts atmospheric and ancient, healing and hermetic. Her self-released EP was later reissued by Leaving Records before she signed with Kranky for her official full-length debut, Because Of A Flower (2020).
